I’ve spent a lot of time photographing weddings at Leeds Town Hall, every time I visit I always feel proud that I’m able to photograph such special moments in such a historic, stunning building. At the beginning of November I got the honour of capturing Andrew & Heather’s special day between the four walls of Leeds Town Hall. Even though it was a wet, miserable Autumn day outside – inside was a fantastic wedding and a wedding at Leeds Town Hall wouldn’t be complete without some photographs on the steps outside.

The building on the inside is tastefully decorated

The highlight of the building for me is the architecture,  built between 1853 and 1858 by architect Cuthbert Brodrick it was imagined as a “municipal palace” and it’s not hard to see why. The ten Corinthian columns at the front really stand out when used as a photographic backdrop.

The Corinthian columns create a stunning frame

Are you thinking of booking your wedding at Leeds Town Hall? Don’t hesitate, the stunning architecture and history surrounding this building makes it a unique and beautiful backdrop for your special day.
