We’ve had a wonderful year in 2019, we had the pleasure of spending time with our customers and their families capturing special moments that will hopefully be remembered for decades to come. As we’re about to enter a new decade we thought it would only be right to share some of our favourite images we’ve captured since we began in 2018.

Starting early 2018 and one of our first family photoshoots with little Ember and her parents Steve & Lucy at Farnley Hall Park.

Later that same month we got to meet up with Holly and her two daughters Myla and Connie for a little photoshoot on Farnley Hall Park.

The following month we took on our first professional wedding with a trip to Leeds Town Hall to capture Lisa & Steve’s wedding day. This was a huge milestone for our business and we couldn’t have been prouder of the results.

No favourites list would be complete without including some of the pictures of our son, Zachary. This one was taken in September 2018 and can be found hanging on the wall in most of our family’s homes. Another one of our favourites taken in Pudsey Park.

The following month we met Rosie and her lovely family for the Christening of their little boy, Myles. The Christening took place at St Andrew’s in Pudsey. This also happened to be our first professional Christening job, another major milestone in our journey.

November 2018 and our first home family photoshoot with Simon and his family.

Another different challenge was presented to us in November 2018 in the form of a 50th birthday party. Teresa contacted us looking for a photographer to capture her friends & family enjoying themselves at Cookridge Hall.

At the end of November 2018 we first met Kate and her lovely little boy Nico for this Autumnal photoshoot. Pudsey Park is a very versatile location for photos depending on the time of the year you visit.

Fast forward to February 2019 and we had the pleasure of taking some pictures of little Alfie in his home for our first indoor baby photoshoot, what a cutey!

Next up March 2019 and the Baptism of little Tommy at St Joseph’s in our hometown of Pudsey.

In April 2019 we got the opportunity to meet up with Rosie and her family for a family photoshoot under the beautiful Cherry Blossom in Pudsey Park. This particular photo features prominently on our business cards and flyers.

June 2019 presented us with another different opportunity, this time our first pet photoshoot. This time on Bramley Park with Pirjo and her two beautiful Daschunds.

At the end of June 2019 we were asked to photograph our first corporate party. We got great weather on the evening for Fantastic Media and Chadwick Lawrence’s joint barbeque.

July 2019 and our first summer wedding over at Pocklington registry office & gardens with James & Hannah and their lovely family and friends.

Late August we took full advantage of the sunny warm weather and headed out to Pudsey Park with our little boy, being a father and a photographer means every moment is an opportunity. This one sits proudly above our fireplace!

In September 2019 we took a trip to Lanzarote with family, as above family presents numerous opportunities for photography. During our travels Tom & Becky asked if they could have some photographs doing – and who am I to say no? Especially with the lovely warm weather and the beach / ocean as a backdrop. Who could resist?

Moving on to September 2019 and another wedding, this time at Selby’s River Mill Ballrooms for the wedding of Tim & Katy.

November 2019 we got the opportunity to take another trip to Leeds Town Hall to photograph the wedding of Andrew & Heather. As a photographer I can’t get enough of the stone pillars at the front of Leeds Town Hall, it’s drop dead stunning.

Mid November 2019 we had the wonderful opportunity to spend some time with Georgina, Tim and their lovely daughter Ruby.

The end of November 2019 saw us take a trip over to Pontefract and the gorgeous Wentbridge House Hotel to photograph the wedding of Chris & Nicola. Upon arrival I fell in love with the Folly outside the building and what better way to put it to use than a backlit portrait of the couple?

And finally, mid December 2019 we spent some time with Zoe and her wonderful family at their grandparents house in Farsley. The photoshoot produced many fantastic photos but one particularly stood out for us.

This is by no means an exhaustive list of the work we’ve undertaken over the past year and a half, more a selection of some of our favourites. We’ve truly enjoyed spending time with each and every one of you and we hope to see you all in the new year for whatever challenge you would like to throw our way.

On behalf of all of us at Glenn Taylor Photography, we wish you the merriest of Christmases and a wonderful New Year ahead.
