A professional website developer by day, by evening / weekend - a professional photographer.
I’ve been dabbling in the world of photography since around the age of 16, as I had been developing and designing websites since my early high school years, I was exposed to beautiful photography all the time. It also means I have a natural affinity for tech and gadgets.
I picked up my first semi-serious camera when I was around 17 on a trip to the coast, a Fujifilm bridge camera – I jumped in with both feet, set the camera up to shoot in RAW and started firing off the shutter at almost everything I came in to contact with. My existing Photoshop skills lended themselves heavily to the art of photography and before long I was making bang average photos pop and hunting for attention on the likes of Flickr, MySpace etc…
At the age of 18, less than 12 months after my Fujifilm camera I decided it was time to step up to a DSLR – the thought of interchangeable lenses and more “professional” features too tempting – I invested in a Canon EOS 450D and my passion for the subject was truly born.
Since then, I have upgraded my kit to a professional range and my kit very rarely stays behind when I go anywhere.
Over the years I’ve done various types of photography. I started out as a landscape photographer now I cover multiple bases – from Landscapes, to products, to weddings, to family / portraiture.
In recent months I’ve been pushing myself in to the event photography space, offering weddings / christenings / parties packages.
If you think you have a project I might be able to assist with, please get in touch today to discuss further!
